Born in the Dravanian Colonies to a Xaela and Raen Au'Ra

Parents mostly interested in each other - Aly didn't get a lot of rearing

Learned everything she could from the various schools

followed them back to sharlayan, didn't fit in but made it through basic schooling.

not accepted into the studium. read basically every book, messed around with every craft, not allowed particularly close to aether nonsense

fucked back off to hang with the gobbos at idyllshire. got better at crafting.

adventured mysteriously for a few years, ended up in limsa getting better at crafts, devoured arcanist theories, turned out weird rock she'd gathered had a faerie. ended up drifting a bit until back at gridania with a faerie, really cool tools, broke as hell and with a bag of weird trinkets from ruins, allag, nym, bits of ruins and cool rocks
